We Started Where You Live

Every great company has a story. Ours begins in Markham. In 2017, a small team of passionate tradespeople launched Markham Reno & Co with a straightforward goal: to deliver honest, high-quality renovations to homeowners who deserved better. No shortcuts. No upsells. Just craftsmanship that lasts.

Word spread quickly. Neighbours referred neighbours. Projects turned into relationships. Before long, that small Markham crew was trusted by hundreds of homeowners across the GTA to transform their most important spaces.

Today, we operate as Cedarwood Development Group Inc. — a full-service design-build renovation company serving Toronto, Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Mississauga, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Brampton, Oakville, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, and every community in between. New name. Same team. Same values. Over 1,000 completed projects and counting.

What We Do — And Why We Do It Better

We're not just a general handyman service. We're a licensed, full-service renovation company in the GTA that handles every phase of your project — from design to permits, execution, and finishing — all under one roof. Here's what that looks like in practice:

Kitchen Renovations in Markham & Toronto

Your kitchen is the heartbeat of your home. It's where mornings start and evenings wind down. We treat it with that level of importance.

Our kitchen renovation services in Markham and the GTA cover everything from full gut-and-rebuild projects to targeted upgrades like custom cabinetry, countertop installation, backsplash tiling, and layout reconfiguration. Whether you're envisioning a sleek modern kitchen with waterfall quartz counters or a warm, traditional space with shaker-style cabinets, our team brings the vision to life — on time and on budget.

Bathroom Renovations That Feel Like a Spa Retreat

A well-designed bathroom does more than function — it restores. Our bathroom renovation specialists serving Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, and Toronto are experts in turning dated, cramped bathrooms into clean, luxurious spaces you actually look forward to using.

From walk-in glass showers and freestanding soaker tubs to heated tile flooring and custom vanities, we handle the full scope. We also manage plumbing rough-ins and electrical coordination so you don't have to juggle multiple contractors.

Basement Renovations — Unlock the Space You're Not Using

One of the smartest investments a homeowner can make is finishing or renovating their basement. A well-executed basement renovation adds livable square footage, boosts resale value, and creates a space your whole family can enjoy.

We specialize in basement renovations across Markham, Scarborough, North York, Mississauga, and the wider GTA — including:

Legal basement apartment conversions (great for rental income or multigenerational living)
Home theatre and entertainment rooms
Home gym buildouts
Kids' playrooms and family rooms
Custom home bars and rec spaces

Every project includes proper egress, insulation, and moisture management — because a beautiful basement is only as good as the structure behind it.

SurfacePro Epoxy Flooring — Premium Floors. Built to Last.

In 2022, Cedarwood Development Group officially launched SurfacePro Epoxy Flooring Inc., our dedicated epoxy flooring division — backed by years of hands-on experience dating back to 2017.

SurfacePro is now one of the GTA's leading epoxy flooring contractors, trusted by homeowners and businesses alike for:

Metallic epoxy flooring — stunning, one-of-a-kind marbled finishes for garages, basements, and showrooms
Marble epoxy systems — high-gloss, seamless floors that mimic the look of natural stone
Flake/chip epoxy — durable, slip-resistant coatings ideal for garages, gyms, and workshops
Commercial epoxy flooring — industrial-grade systems for warehouses, retail spaces, and offices

Whether you want a garage floor that looks like a luxury showroom or a commercial space that can handle heavy foot and equipment traffic, SurfacePro delivers.

Our commercial renovation team understands the importance of minimizing disruption to your operations while delivering a finished product that impresses clients and employees alike.
